Perhaps, tho I can see it being useful to be able to as well, in the case that the server is misbehaving and you can't access the shell to shut it down. |

Agreed, it is useful not to have this feature, for some people. Thats why I suggested a config option, however, I think there are enough people who would like this feature. |

Not every is given shell access not because of trust but a few ideas come to mind. A: To many hands in the cookie jar idea B: Not all irc admins can handle a shell but are great at running the social side or a network |

In which case, why the fuck are they squitting services when they can't restart them? :P (not that this would affect atheme, which will auto-reconnect to a lost uplink(s)), and/or have an o:? |
