i think anyway the compilations is crap (for 3rd party mods) in Windows Platform. So dont load any third party win32 modules... is very buggy codes, and we wasted our times for searching annoying and bad stuffs over the internet. The requesting from me is: head coders, build more usefull modules (possible and for windows platform) and no paid modules like ProtectOpers in vulscan.... The Default modules is outdated, the peoples bored and change their irc'ds... so im very unhappy... all in world is for moneys... paid modules...
anyway sorry for my english, im from greece, and sorry if im was bad :D

Firstly, the chansno module is not coded or maintained by the UnrealIRCd coders or staff, so this will not be fixed.

Second, that module is an extremely old module, and has not been maintained since July 12th 2004, which is almost 3 years ago. Bugs in old modules should be expected, because the Unreal API changes with each version. To give an idea of how old the module is, it was designed to run with Unreal 3.2, which was 6 versions ago, as well as the first non-beta release of Unreal 3.2.

Third, the win32 module system, implimented in Unreal 3.2.1 (I think), is a very good module system. Modules work just as well on *nix as they do on Windows.

If you downloaded the module from www.x-tab.org/modules, it clearly states on the page that all I (Stealth) do is run them through the compiler - meaning, if they compile, they get published, bugs and all. I will however, note the module as broken and pull it offline.

thanks for the answer my friend. im not say that module is builded or supported by UnrealIRCD coders team, im just said this: "The requesting from me is: head coders, build more usefull modules (possible and for windows platform) and no paid modules like ProtectOpers in vulscan...." is just a small request from me with my poor mind :D im tired in searching over the internet to find modules make my Unrealircd (now i have 3.2.6, im waiting the 3.2.7 :D) more powerfull or add some nice more commands or functions... and i saw some paid modules... is not right... anyway Hail to Unrealircd coders, keep the good job to open source world :D (a last question: it is possible in windows platform, using unrealircd source compiled with cygwin? the modules system will be more stable?)

No bug here.

Module system works fine, just need to be able to code correctly and have the correct build environment. etc etc

in other words: see Stealth's answer
