Are you using SQLMod? I only recognize the message from there. This happens if a user logs in with correct credentials (user/pass): then the 'old' user is killed so the 'new' one can get online. If you think something is wrong in that respect, and are using SQLMod, then you can contact me at [email protected] If you're not using SQLMod, then let us know what services package you use. |

here is another case where you see what's happing olaaaa ([email protected]) Quit (Forced nick collision) * olaaaa ([email protected]) has joined #40+ here you can see its a totaly diffrent provider who takes over this nick i tested it using our webpage or using mirc i dont get it how they do it !!! |

the guy only can do this with NOT registred nicks , so its almost impossible for hem to retrieve a nick/pass for this nicks |

The question still stands: are you using SQLMod? or not? If you are, please contact me at [email protected] since this is unlikely to be a core UnrealIRCd issue. And (again) if you are not using SQLMod, then let us know what services package you use. |

I'm setting this to feedback & normal priority until we get more information. |

To reporter: please provide answers to the questions I asked 4 weeks ago, I still haven't heard from you. You say this is a serious issue, but this way we cannot help you in any way. Even if it turned out to be 'not a real issue', like a configuration error or compromised server, we'd still like to know, so we can safely close the report. You can reach me either by posting a note here, or by e-mailing to [email protected]. You can also e-mail in Dutch, if that helps anything. |

Turned out to be not an UnrealIRCd issue. |
