Summary0004139: Allow spamfilters to expire
DescriptionI think we should allow each spamfilter entry to expire according to the time specified by the person who added the entry.

Currently only *line/shun set by the spamfilter can expire. (Correct me if I am wrong)

Let's see if there's a real need for this.
We shouldn't add it just because it's currently missing. It's quite major to change the syntax of the command, the syntax of the server PROTOCOL (with backward compatibility), plus it takes away room for the spamfilter regex when added through /SPAMFILTER. This max. regex length is lowered by 11 characters due to the 10 digit timestamp and a space.

So, question: have you been in a situation where you felt this feature was missing? could you describe such a situation?

Actually it was just a random suggestion but I have been in situations where ircops forgot to remove spamfilters and I had to remind them constantly.

Nothing major about this suggestion. Perhaps someone can think of better solutions to remove old spamfilters. I personally don't think it is a wise idea to reduce the max. regex length.

I think we're ok without this.
