| Description | As far as I know, WATCH command is not defined by any RFC and does not have any specification with a level of detail relevant to a RFC (exact syntax + numeric replies). Such a specification would be useful in order to implement its support in an irc bouncer. Moreover, the current documentation does not even talk about C/S/L arguments to the WATCH command. | ||||

I would hold off on implementing WATCH if I were you, as there is an attempt right now to standardize MONITOR instead (which is a better form of WATCH). Hopefully WATCH can just die or something. |

We will solve this in 3.4 by switching to MONITOR, which is standardized. |
