Summary0000539: rehash crashes the ircd in win32
DescriptionWhen clicking rehash and then rehashing any file after a certain amount of time, unreal crashed. (If i first start unreal, it will rehash fine), but if unreal has been running for an hour or so, and then when I click rehash, the unreal application disappears and the server shuts down. This should be fixed for the windows version.
Steps To ReproduceWhen running unreal (not as an NT service) click rehash, then click any of the motd files, or to rehash the config and unreal will crash. It has done it many times after running unreal for an hour or so.

I meant to add this as a tweak for the IRCD. I accidentally set it in the documentaton category. Sorry about that!

Umm well where is the core file caused by this? Because it works perfectly here.

Unfortunetely the core file is not coming out. I have 4 core files and they are all 0 bytes. So Unreal is generating them, but with no information inside.

I am unable to reproduce this problem with a WIRCD up for 4 hours. I figure this is either a GUI or config parsing problem. So, the first question is did you change a config file? If so you may have encountered a syntax parsing bug. Second, in the steps to reproduce you said "...click rehash, then click any of the motd files, or to rehash...". When trying to reproduce this problem i have been right clicking on the "U" icon in the system tray and selecting Rehash from the popup menu. Is this what you are doing?

There have been numerous crash fixes since beta13, does this still happen in b15, or even better, in the current cvs?
