I was trying to disable the "charsys" module but i got some irc errors after /rehash , note that i don't use it at all so that's why i wanted to unload it.

Thanks for the report. Unfortunately this is a mandatory module as all nick changes go through charsys.
As you can see in modules.default.conf this is already mentioned:
loadmodule "charsys"; /* Provides set::allowed-nickchars (must always be loaded!) */
