Summary0006078: No chanop can remove halfop, error received "You're not a channel operator"
DescriptionHere is where the bug was reported: #unreal-support

[12:01:01] <buayadarat> when i block chanowner and chanadmin for hide ~ and & , a get error , unable dehalfop users
[12:25:17] <Koragg> as a regular op you should be able to dehalfop users, and what is the exact error you get?
[12:27:12] <buayadarat> im regular OP , get message : You're not channel operator
[12:27:48] <Koragg> that seems kind of odd, you are on Unreal 6.0.2 right?
[12:28:05] <Koragg> could be your client if your CTCP VERSION is accurate
[12:28:08] <buayadarat> yes im on Unreal 6.0.2
[12:29:57] <Koragg> actually I can reproduce your issue fully, that is indeed a bug
[12:30:21] <Koragg> oddly this only effects -h but NOT -o (which is higher in rank)
[12:33:04] <buayadarat> thanks for your info, i will wait new upgrade for more stable , :) and try for my network
[12:34:37] <Koragg> odd that +a and +q can give, but not take halfop, good spotting of the bug
Steps To Reproduce- Disable oper
- Be chanop in a channel
- Set someone a halfop
- Unset them as a halfop
Additional InformationSmall fix/tweak to align the logic of the halfop module with the other prefix modes =]
