Summary | 0006450: Dronebl and Efnet Not Turn Off
Description | I want DroneBL and Efnet proxy logins to be free on the server.Even though I tried everything, I couldn't turn it off. - On config file and commented/removed them the DroneBL and Efnet, then rehash but nothing change it. - I deliberately chose tempshun as actions. I even tried all the actions :) Interestingly, some actions were not responding (example: block, warn).

I solved the problem I was having. While testing, proxies were trying to quickly enter the server in the background, but there was no ConnThrottle warning on the server. Yesterday I turned off the ConnThrottle rule completely and all proxies logged into the server. If ConnThrottle had given warning messages beforehand, there would probably have been a faster solution. The solution is provided by disabling the Blacklist module, adding it to your ELINE, and turning off the ConnThrottle rule. Thank you everyone. |

Ah okay, so it wasn't the blacklists but some other protection system kicking in. Connthrottle is quite loud when it kicks in though, but if your screen is already filled with connect messages i can understand how it is missed. UnrealIRCd has lots of protection mechanisms :D |
