| Summary | 0000728: Unable to run more than one server on the same computer | ||||
| Description | When I run one copy of UnrealIRCD, it works fine, however, when I run another copy, it closes down and restarts continually until I close the first one. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Load one instance of the program, then load another, and observe the effects. | ||||
| 3rd party modules | |||||

Are you trying to load both instances from the same folder? Cause if both servers share the same config (more specificly, same ports) it will most likely cause problems. Why do you want to run two copies of Unreal on the same computer on Windows anyway? |

Well.... I'm doing tests for linking capabilities... making sure two versions of Unreal 3.1.5.1 will link together... and if I can establish a test network on my computer (dont ask for reasons, I have few worth mentioning) - the programs are in separate folders and with separate config files. One is listening to port 6667 on all IPs installed on my computer (192.168.0.214, 192.168.0.215 and 192.168.0.216 fyi) and the other listens to port 6667 on 192.168.0.216. I am, however, seeing this error in ircd.log: (Tue Feb 18 21:51:57 2003) select Darkie.FakeNetwork.com:Unknown Error 10022 Just in case you need to know, error 10022 translates to "Invalid Argument". Any help would be appreciated. |

You are trying to open port 6667 twice on .216, but it's wrong. |
