| Description | server compiles starts up fine using encrypted passwords then i try to oper, says pass is wrong alot of diff people have compiled unrealircd all versions and all come up with the same thing on this shell the server i was linked too uses same version with encyted passwords and im using the same ircd.conf unrealirc and my .network and unrealircd.conf and we are on the same box works fine with un encrypted passwords but all the servers i was linked too are using encryted passwords says password incorrect if i put my pass infront of my username it says no olines for my host u need anymore info please let me know tks alot for this fine program onebadass | ||||

Something Luke will probably say: the current version is 3.1.5.1, so do you also have this problem (the /oper thing to be specific) with that version? |

Generate a crypted password to place in the O-line, not a plaintext one. |
