Compiles fine here. Can you give some "make" output (preferably XX lines and not just the last 3 ;P)? :) |
In what directory is the openssl binary? libraries? headers? |
How did you install openssl? Perhaps you are mixing 0.9.7a header files with 0.9.6g libs... Check for example: ls -ald /lib/*ssl* /usr/lib/*ssl* etc.. I used: ./config --prefix=/usr --openssldir=/etc/ssl shared when configuring openssl. |

Heh you posted under your wrong identity? lol ;P |
Sorry, I'm checking that I am mixing version files or not, sorry sorry :) |
Next time I try to do things clearly... and not to delete my bugnotes |
Oh, yes I used: ./config --prefix=/usr --openssldir=/usr/openssl wolf@wolf:~> openssl version OpenSSL 0.9.7a Feb 19 2003 wolf@wolf:~> gcc -v gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE) Simply working, no problem at compile, so when I couldn't compile, it was because I mixed files /usr/lib/libssl.so* and libcrypto.so*... To summarize: 1. Unreal with SSL support cannot be compiled if you mix OpenSSL versions 2. You can't connect to the server with a wrong OpenSSL version number, for instance: --- Connection failed. Error: (336130315) error:1408F10B:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_RECORD:wrong version number edited on: 03-11 05:30 |

It's not exactly clear to me... the compile problem is solved now? |
Yes, solved, now I don't have any problems, those points were only my experiences about installing Unreal with SSL support. edited on: 03-11 05:31 |

btw the other version error you are talking about has nothing to do with the openssl version. |
