| Summary | 0000802: (feature) Whole hostmask to be shown upon numeric 333 (who set the topic) | ||||
| Description | Just wondering, I saw this on Ultimate's changelog and thought it would be nice to have it on Unreal too. How about showing the whole hostmask of the user who set the topic? So that user would see something like: --- Topic for #amici is <dal vaelo> Todin, en la universitato oni nin instruas kiel trakti malsanulojn sen mortigi ilin..! --- Topic for #amici set by [email protected] at Tue Mar 11 14:46:28 instead of a simple: --- Topic for #amici is <dal vaelo> Todin, en la universitato oni nin instruas kiel trakti malsanulojn sen mortigi ilin..! --- Topic for #amici set by Jollino at Tue Mar 11 14:46:28 I wonder how that would have to deal with cloaked hostnames, though. Maybe show the cloaked host for anyone including opers? | ||||

This is already added, it just isn't enabled by default. In include/config.h: #undef TOPIC_NICK_IS_NUH change that to: #define TOPIC_NICK_IS_NUH Note though, that all servers MUST be running at least beta12, and it should be enabled on all servers, and it is possible that using that will screw up your services. (Hence why it is disabled by default). |
