First ... Sorry for setting this report in the wrong Category... Then tell me, how to prevent Users from using channelmodes on nonregistered Channels? OK, the actual services version is able to prevent unregistered users from crating channels... but I did nothing read about disabling the usage of channelmodes... |

If not IRC Operators, that's fine, no problem (or I don't know what you are complaining about), otherwise changing channel modes is restricted by operflag can_override (v). |

Hmpf... OK... I want to disable some channel modes so users can't use them. We have some "bad" guys which use +u (auditorium) and +L in an abusive way. So we want to disable these modes in our Chatsystem. There are two ways: - A configuration directive like set::restrict-usermodes but only for channels - disabling it in source code... But how to do it? I think the first way is the better one... |

How bout an option to set default channel modes? (like +nt) |

Brad: codemastr has already done it (- Added set::modes-on-join to set channel modes that are set when a new channel is created.) I mean, you will be able to use this option in beta16. edited on: 03-28 21:22 |
