Summary0000894: Connections over SSL get randomly disconnected with [Input/Output Error]
DescriptionMy typical client setup is mIRC -> winSSLwrap -> Firewall Redirect from 994 -> 7070 -> ircd. 99% of the time they are on WinXP SP1.

I've been seeing very odd disconnects where I get the oper system message of [Input/Output Error] when they are using SSL.

The very strange thing is I have two clients who have exactly the same kind of setup. Connecting over the same LAN connection to the same firewall and internet connection. One drops rather regularrly (in comparision) and the other has an incredibly stable connection. Same type of physical hardware, same type of software (should be same versions).
Steps To ReproduceConnect over SSL. Wait a while. It (from my current watching) varies over a period of a minute to over 8 hours.
Additional InformationI will be happy to generate more debug logs or tweak other things to help resolve this issue.

Did you see anything with the mode yourself +s +j? Also I've changed the error message in CVS so it shows the openssl error instead of the generic I/O error.

[05:10:23] <Psychosis-afk> is there a bug or problem with trying to link a unrealirc beta15 win32-ssl server with a Unrealircd beta15 linux server?
[05:10:38] <Psychosis-afk> it links fine for a couple hours or so.....then delinks
[05:11:01] <Psychosis-afk> tried it on a couple diff win32 machines linking to the linux machine

Can't help without the exact error, error messaging has been modified in CVS / beta16, so we'll see...
