| Summary | 0000895: A simple bug on PRIVMSG | ||||
| Description | Many networks forces you to identify in their services using /msg nickserv@server. If there is a server linked that supports *TOKEN* protocol, it receive a line like this :Troco PRIVMSG nickserv@server :message instead of this :Troco ! nickserv@server :message Not should this line be tokenized? | ||||
| 3rd party modules | |||||
This seems to happen with a few specific server->server messages, especially server generated messages. |
[in general] Yeah, sometimes "the coders" got bored and just used the non-tokenized version. Dunnow if "the rules" specify that it ALWAYS should use tokens so "normal commands" are disallowed, but it happends.. |
Well yea it _should_ use tokens, I'll look into it, but just as a side note, it not using tokens won't cause any harm at all, except a small amount of wasted bandwidth. |
