Hub is b16, as are two of the other servers. Two more are still b15. This error occurred on a b16 leaf. |

And confirmed again in 0000995 but no version info was given. Hmmm looking again at the info Joolz supplied, this seems still present at beta16.. . but it's caused by something else this time (not the [in]famous "messages being lost"-bug). |

oops...sorry for the duplicat. This happens occasionally on our network also, all servers running beta16, unmodified. This is the released version, not cvs. Doesn't cause a crash, but you do get the error message. |

I'm assuming you already know this, but it appears, seeing as how all the reports contain a single user joining, that this problem is not with SJOIN itself, that is the SJOIN sent when servers link, it appears to be a problem with the SJOIN sent to remote servers when a user JOINs a channel. |

On ZiRC this error seems to happen regularly.. I have more examples from ircd.log, if that would help? |

codemastr: yeah :/ Joolz: the only thing which would help is knowing what exactly happend, but until now nobody knows (I guess nobody asked or got a [good] response from the people in the channel :P). It looks like something weird/unusual :p. |

Hm, after looking at some theories I now know this is possible if you kick from 2 different servers at the same time so I'll remove the notice itself (not the dupcheck). |

I can see from my logs that it wasn't an issue with the channel but with the user, because the error appeared for all the channels that user was in. |

Joolz: then maybe there is another issue as well (+x rejoin bla? just shouting something without looking at the src) Anyway, from now on it will no longer bother you with those notices :p. |
