So you have a src/ircd and src/modules/commands.so ?
Those missing lines could be quite crucial so maybe you could do something like this:
make clean; make 1>makelog 2>&1

and attach makelog ;p

The problem here is you decided not to read the documentation. Where does it say type "./configure --prefix=/usr/local"? It doesn't. It clearly states that you are to run ./Config. You didn't do that.
