| Additional Information | workaround by stskeeps and syzop: edit the Makefile and 1) add "-D_SOLARIS" in any XCFLAGS line 2) add "-lresolv" to IRCDLIBS= included file is my config.log after successfull make then make will work fine | ||||

For the record this was also reported by someone else 0000957 (closed bug) but he was running Solaris 2.7 (@Sparc5)... so... |

Would you be able to download http://www.codemastr.com/configure and replace the configure script with that one, then tell me if ./Config && make still fails? |

Is there anyway that you could setup a shell account that we could use to test this? If I had access to the system I could probably fix it in ~5 minutes, but trying to guess what the problem is without seeing it makes it much harder. |

This is not up to me as i am not the admin and i do not have root access. I can ask our system group if they would allow this, but i tell you, i do not think they will offer this. Tell me what to do in which order, i will in detail. We could meet in chat and i do while we chat or you can send me a list of tasks to my mail account [email protected] I'll see what i can do about the shell account but actually i don't think our system group would be too happy about me even asking this. :rolleyes: One thing i _could_ think about would be tellin you my account data and let you use my account.
