| Description | Send a notice to opers if someone attempts to join a denied channel, perhaps have a config option like deny channel { channel "#*preteen*"; reason "Childporn"; warn on; }; so if someone tries to join #preteen opers get a notice about it. -- In /stats P show whether the port is configured as serversonly, clientsonly and/or ssl. -- /Stats G options (like the /who options) so you could have something like: /stats G +t gline +h *@*aol.com +o The_Oper +e >10d so that would only list glines for aol, set by The_Oper, and had an expiry time of over 10 days.. | ||||

I like your ideas too. You aren't using Windows, are you? I added your /stats G options into my m_isbanned module and changed its name to m_banlist (http://angrywolf.linktipp.org/m_banlist.c). What do you think about /gline for channels ? Because i think nobody wants to open everytime the config-file and add a line ;) For example: /gline #unreal_is_shit It isin't ;P /gline #*warez* Use KaZaA lamer ... /gline +14d #advertise Lame ... If users want to join for example #advertise Unreal sends a raw (maybe a new): <server> <xxx> <nick> :Permission denied (closed): <reason> |

- Currently I need the /stats P enhancement, because information about listen options are very useful. I can't say better example, but if you knew what ports are SSL enabled, you wouldn't have to have privileges to see the configuration file itself. It could also make ports administration easier for ircops. - Stats G enhancement has been done, will be available in beta18, as far as I know. But maybe incomplete/not finished? I mean flag +e in the example above. - Channel G:Lines? Well, I think ChanServ already has a command called forbid, however it doesn't support expiration time... why is it needed? |

Yes ChanServ has this command but if somebody joined ChanServ has to kick him - Would be better if the IRCd makes this :> |
