| Description | Actually, this is not a bug. This is what I'll recommend, or suggest. Stskeeps redirected me to say it in here. When we write a long line in motd, it automatically breaks the line and adds a new line. For example: The line that's written is: Please read this motd carefully before starting chat on our network. This will guide to you every minute of your chat. But it changes it into: Please read this motd carefully before starting chat on our network. This wi ll guide to you every minute of your chat. (under line) Please do something for that or I am gonna go crazy. Thanks from now on. | ||||

what I'm asking for is can't you make this charactes longer than 80? It will be good if it can be 100 - 110 characters. If you can not do, then it's ok, there's nothing much to do with it. That's a suggestion, I hope you care it. |

Oh ok, no that's not possible. Well in the ircd it is, but clients cut it off anyway (for example mIRC) or might do other weird things, so it's a baddd idea. Also RFC1459 especially mentions this limit (quote: "each line no longer than 80 characters"). |
