Summary | 0004216: [feature] Enhance vhost block
Description | The vhost block is severely lacking when compared to the oper block and some may see it as equally useful. Things that need to be added are (optional of course): require-modes modes maxlogins class These are the same as the oper block in function. Granted many of the things the vhost block, including the block it's self can be provided by services, however we should never assume everyone runs services. This will also provide more functionality to networks that give out loyalty awards to users.

note to whoever works on this: i think we should move the vhost block to a module before looking into these things. this means, if you wanna work on this, also work on modularizing it at the same time. |
|
The vhost block is much more flexible in 6.1.8 now. Also support vhost::auto-login... not that this issue is about that but still :P. Security groups allow fine-grained selection which is what this issue was about. |
