| Summary | 0000812: Crash (no idea what caused it) | ||||
| Description | Just a few mins ago, our IRCd crashed on us, I got no idea why, no seg fault notice was sent out, and can't find anything in the logs. I had recently done a /rehash after makign some changes to bandwords.channel.conf, but it was about two mins after the rehash that it actually crashed. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Not exactly sure what caused it, so I'm not to sure how to reproduce it, and I don't exactly want to, either. | ||||
| Additional Information | Anyway, here is the core file. | ||||
| 3rd party modules | |||||
Can you please do what it says to do on the bugs.unrealircd.org mainpage and include the gdb bt output? |
I tried to attach the core file, but it timed out uploading. It can be found at *** NM, figured out what I was doing wrong with GDB Core was generated by `ircd'. Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault. #0 ircvsprintf ( str=0x81153e0 ":gaming.windfyre.net 001 trilluser :Welcome to the ting surrender monkies!\r\n", format=0x8096b9d " IRC Network %s, Feel the Spiff! %s@%s", vl=0xbfbff6e8 "Lù¿¿\030\232\030\b#\232\030\b)\210\030\bò\210\030\b") at ircsprintf.c:289 289 if ((*str = *p1)) edited on: 03-15 20:29 |

Umm thats not what I asked you for. I asked for gdb bt output (like it says on the bugs.unrealircd.org mainpage) |

I don't see anything about using "bt" on the front page, but here it is anyway. My guess is there was something wrong with the network-name somehow being NULL... Did you fix it? If not, mail [email protected] *close bug*. |
