3492 is a crash when freeing memory, 3788 is a crash when allocating memory. Both (free&alloc) comming from the resolver... Heap corruption? Threading bug? I dunnow...

In normal english: a nasty bug.

Hmm :). Strange.. how many users do you have?
Coz that will only happen if it has maybe ~59Mb of queued data.

Can you try using the wircd.zip I attached? It is a post-beta16 CVS version that has some fixes, maybe one of them will solve your problem.
